When the gun shot went off in the distance I realized what had happened and that nothing i could do could stop it. The one I loved the most in this world had just made a deadly mistake. I knew I shouldn't have left her alone but she had insisted.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me across the rooftop. as i neared the end I leapt into a dive and as i fell through the air I immediately knew something was wrong and now there was nothing i could do but close my eyes expecting to hit the ground at any second. But they wouldn't close. They were frozen wide open as I plummeted toward my fate.
